The University of Economics in Bratislava, represented by prof. Dipl. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD., signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Slovak Performing and Mechanical Rights Society (SOZA), Sinus and Reprex on utilizing Open Policy Analysis results.
On Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Department of International Mobility hosted its popular International Study Abroad Fair in the main campus building. This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the International Study Abroad Fair.
The summer semester of the academic year 2022/2023 welcomed 112 incoming exchange students from 17 countries all over the world. The traditional event, Welcome Week, invites incoming exchange students to experience a week full of activities from 6.2.2023 – 12.2.2023.

The University of Economics in Bratislava hosted the 12th edition of the Winter School in cooperation with the prestigious French university ESC Rennes School of Business. 9 January 2023 saw the opening of the event’s 12th edition attended by 15 foreign students from countries such as Colombia, Peru, Mexico, India, China or Italy. For the first time ever, students of the University of Economics in Bratislava were allowed to attend teaching activities and had thus an opportunity to experience internationalisation on their home ground in addition to being able to acquire expert knowledge.
In the winter semester of an academic year 2022/2023, we organized the eighth edition of the educational project Central Europe Connect - Joint Certificate Program (CEC), that enables short-term international student exchange at three economic universities in Central Europe. The CEC project is a joint project of the University of Economics in Vienna (WU), the University of Economics in Warsaw (SGH) and the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA). Within this unique certified program, 20 students from each university attend lectures and discussions on the topics of economic development of the countries of the Central European region.
Adam RIAPOŠ, a fifth-year student at the UEBA's Faculty of Business Management, won a World Champion title in the 2022 Spartan Trifecta Race in the 18-24 age group.
The University of Economics in Bratislava organized its 13th edition of the International Teaching & Training Week 2022 from November 7 to 10, 2022, with the subtitle Internationalization of Higher Education.
On November 9-13, 2022, a team of 54 EUBA students participated in the 7th World University Championships (WIUSC) in Barcelona, Spain.
The Department of International Mobility of University of Economics in Bratislava prepared a photography exhibition of exchange students who completed their stay at the university in the summer semester of the academic year 2021/2022 through the Erasmus+ KA171 programme (cooperation outside Europe). The photographs show students from partner institutions from countries such as China, Georgia, South Korea, Syria, and Ukraine in the EU environment in Bratislava.
The Department of International Mobility of University of Economics in Bratislava organized a photography contest for exchange students from partner universities from September 15 to October 15, 2022. The goal of the competition was to promote and support technical and creative skills in photography as a form of artistic expression. The theme of this year's photography contest was „Bratislava by my eyes”, where students had the opportunity to show how they perceive Bratislava and Slovakia because photography says more than a thousand words.
On Friday, October 21, 2022, at 08:00 a.m., the second round of elections for the candidate for the rector of the University of Economics in Bratislava for the term of office from February 1, 2023 to January 31, 2027 was held at a closed session of the Academic Senate of the University of Economics in Bratislava.
