Physical education is not included in the proposed semester schedule of bachelor's or engineering studies. In the semester of Bachelor and Master studies, a sport from the offered offer of CTVŠ is registered and enrolled through AIS. In the credit study system, TV in the EU is included as a subject of a university-wide offer, it is implemented in a selective form. Students choose from the current offer of physical education activities. Compulsory TV and the number of credits vary according to the individual faculties (see "Study program" of the relevant faculty). The condition for obtaining credit and awarding credit points is 100% participation in seminars or participation in a winter or summer course, in a minimum of 5 teaching days. If the student does not have a compulsory Physical education in the semester, he / she can enroll optionally. Optionally, the student can enroll in winter or summer courses. Physical education activities continue in a modified form even in the probationary period and are optional.

As part of the study program for EU students and staff, the University of Economics in Bratislava offers physical education activities in the 2022/2023 school year:
COURSES:
- Winter - courses for downhill, cross-country skiing and snowboarding in attractive locations
- Summer - with a focus on rafting, Slovak and Czech rivers, rafting, canyoning in Slovenia
BLOCK TEACHING:
- Cycling, Hiking - half-day program in pre-determined dates. The student can choose block teaching instead of semester teaching. To be awarded the credit they must complete three optional blocks.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION ACTIVITIES AT THE UNIVERSITY:

If the student does not have a compulsory physical education activity in the semester, he / she can enroll optionally. Optionally, the student can enroll in winter as well as summer courses. Physical education activities continue in a modified form even in the probationary period and are optional.
ACTIVE ATHLETES:
Students who actively play sports at the level of national competitions (1st league, 2nd league, national team of Slovakia) submit an application with confirmation from the relevant sports club, to be awarded a credit at CTVŠ in the first week of the Winter term or Summer term.

A system of exercises designed for beginners to advanced. Yoga positions are based on a system of stretching, balance, flexibility to strength exercises and train the whole body. Yoga not only affects the muscles, but the spine becomes more flexible, the joints relax, the lungs dilate, the blood circulation is stimulated, performance increases. It is a controlled movement, we have to concentrate our mind to perform the individual positions, which has a deep concentration and calming effect.

Physical education for the physically impaired
Lecture from Theoretical TV - Monday, 7.30 am
For students with mild and mild health impairments, we recommend the following types of sports activities:
- Swimming
- Pilates
- Yoga
- Exercise on Fitlops
- Fitness bodybuilding
Students who are exempt from Physical Education and Sports attend the lecture. For the first lecture, they will bring a certificate from a general practitioner, who will indicate the type of relief. The certificate must not be older than 1 month and must be filled in on the official form "Recommendation for exemption from compulsory TV" (if it is not held by a doctor, it can be purchased at ŠEVT).
Credits for Physical Education activities can be obtained only by attending lectures, or by choosing a suitable physical activity.

University League (UL)

Students can register for individual teams with teachers responsible for leading the VŠL team in the relevant sports branch (see the schedule for the relevant semester). Currently, the university league takes place in the following sports: Basketball, Volleyball, Floorball, Futsal, Football and Swimming. Our university has been achieving excellent results in it for a long time and is regularly placed in medal positions.
Sportsmen
It is open to full-time students of 1, 2 and also the 3rd degree of university study, within the compulsory and optional physical education, who excel in the given sports or achieve better results and want to represent the relevant faculty and school. Ekonóm University Sports Club (USP)
With its program, USP Ekonóm provides club members from among students, friends, graduates and school employees with recreational and sports activities. These activities are provided beyond compulsory and optional physical education (provided by CTVŠ) during the semester and the examination period.

Each year, University teams in handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton and football take part in international university sports events in Istanbul, Paris, Eidhoven, Milan, Leipzig, Rome and Barcelona.

- every Thursday entrance to the Pasienka Swimming Pool;
- unlimited admissions to the school gym Školička;
- unlimited admissions to the school gym at the Horský Park gym;
- free use of boats and necessary boating equipment on rafts.
If you use up your aerobics (gym) before the end of the semester, but you are still interested in participating in our activities, you can buy the required number of tickets directly in our club.
