Students in the study programme Financial Markets and Investment (Department of Banking and International Finance and Department of Insurance at the Faculty of National Economy, EUBA), together with students at the Tsinghua PBCSF, Beijing, China and Warsaw School of Economics, Poland, participated actively in the International Central Banking Week organised by the Hochschule der Deutschen Bundesbank in Hachenburg, Germany on 15 - 22 April 2023. The week filled with excellent lectures and workshops on current monetary policies in the Eurozone, financial literacy and cryptocurrency market regulation that were held at the University of Hachenburg and at the Bundesbank in Frankfurt was concluded by the Fort Fantastic contest, smoothly won by our students.
The greatest experience, however, was the debate with Dr. Joachim Nagel, President of the Deutsche Bundesbank. The fact that we were worthy representatives of our University is also reflected in the German university's interest, confirmed by the Central Bank's Governor, to cooperate with our institution. Negotiations are already under way.
