Prizes of EUBA Rector for Teaching Activities and Publication Output are awarded every year on the occasion of the academic year start.
Prize of EUBA Rector for Publication Output
A panel of economists serving at foreign universities and research institutions Ľuboš Pástor (Chicago Booth School of Business), Jarko Fidrmuc (Zeppelin University) and Zuzana Fungáčová (Bank of Finland) decided on proposals for the 2022 award of the Prize of EUBA Rector for Publication Output.
The panel evaluated 12 submissions in the category Articles in Slovak and Foreign Journals, 4 submissions in the category Scientific Monographs in Slovak, 1 submission in the category Scientific Monographs in English, and 5 submissions in the University Textbooks category. After completing their evaluation, the panel proposed that the EUBA Rector, prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD., award the EU Prize for Publication Output to the following authors for the following publications:

Prize of EUBA Rector for Teaching Activities
The evaluation panel comprising the following members: Ing. Elena Kohútiková, PhD., Ing. Andrej Révaj, Dr.h.c. Ing. Richard Farkaš, PhD., doc. Ing. Pavol Konštiak, CSc., Ing. Vladimír Sirotka CSc., Bc.Paulína Dudová, doc. Ing. Jaromír Novák, PhD., doc. Ing. Jana Péliová, PhD., doc. Ing. Mgr. Zuzana Juhászová, PhD. and prof. Ing. Ferdinand Daňo, PhD., decided on the proposals to award the 2022 EUBA Prize for Teaching Activities.
Based on the recommendation from the evaluation panel, Professor Daňo awarded the 2022 Prize of the EUBA Rector for Teaching Activities to Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Peter MARKOVIČ, PhD. DBA of the Faculty of Business Management. Dr. h. c. prof. Ing. Peter Markovič, PhD., DBA has been making a significant contribution to continual improvement in the quality of teaching through his high academic and research excellence. He has a long track record of extraordinary achievements in teaching as is demonstrated not only by his evaluation from the management staff of the Department of Business Finance where Peter Markovič serves as Professor but also by the evaluation obtained from students' opinion surveys.
