From 25 to 28 April 2022 the University of Economics in Bratislava hosted the 12th edition of the International Week entitled International Teaching & Training Week 2022 with the subtitle Quality Assurance in Double Degree Programs.
The event was held by the University in collaboration with the international double degrees network HERMES Universities Network as part of the Erasmus+ programme. The event's main topic was quality assurance in double degree programs. Just as many other renowned universities, the UE in Bratislava too views double degree programs as an imporant part of internationalization. The welcome address to the participants was delivered by Boris MATTOŠ, Vice-Rector for International Relations of the UE in Bratislava, and Claudia TARANTOLA, Chairman of the HERMES Universities Network.
During the four days foreign guests could enjoy a rich programme full of interactive worshops aimed at quality assurance in double degree programs as well as discussions concerning challenges and experience that international acceditation process brings along.
The participants valued the event as an excellent opportunity for meeting their colleagues from foreign universities. They stressed the quality of the information provided on double degree implementation as well as the importance of networking and of quality management.
Certificates of attendance were handed out to the participants by Boris Mattoš, Vice-Rector for International Relations, representing in this capacity the Rector of the UE in Bratislava.
