Teaching at full-time study - 1st and 2nd level of study - summer semester

Teaching at full-time studies – at the Bachelor's and Master's degrees - for study programmes taught in the Slovak language - will be carried out from 14 March 2022 in accordance with the schedule for the academic year 2021/2022 and according to the timetable in a hybrid form.

Full-time study – at the Bachelor's and Master's degrees - for study programmes taught in a foreign language - will continue to be taught exclusively online from 14 March 2022 in accordance with the schedule for the academic year 2021/2022 and according to the timetable.

Physical education activities will be carried out in the full-time form.

In the hybrid form of teaching, so-called active forms of teaching (e.g. seminars and exercises, or laboratory exercises) will be taught in a face-to-face format. The online form will be used for teaching so-called passive forms of learning (e.g. lectures).

Examination period – the summer semester

Exams in the examination period of the summer semester are carried out in the form of full-time attendance with the physical participation of students of the Bachelor's and Master's degrees of full-time study. In justified cases, according to the request of the course guarantor, exams in the examination period may also be conducted online using relevant online platforms with the approval of the Dean of the relevant faculty.

State examinations at the Bachelor's and Master's degrees

The state examinations at the Bachelor's and Master's degrees are held from 16 May 2022 to 1 July 2022. The state examinations or the resit of the state examinations may also be held in August 2022 according to the schedules of the individual faculties in the form of full-time examinations.

For foreign students who are not in the territory of the Slovak Republic at the time of the state examinations, it is possible to take the state examination online. The details of the online state examinations will be determined by the deans of the individual faculties.

 

Access to the premises of the University of Economics (UE) in Bratislava (and the PHF EUBA in Košice)

Access to the premises of the UE in Bratislava is granted in the "basic" mode.

The buildings of the UE in Bratislava (Building V1, Building V2, and the building of the PHF EUBA in Košice) are open to staff, students, and the public until 20.30.

Access to the premises of the UE student hall of residence in Bratislava (both in Bratislava and Košice) is allowed in the 'basic' mode.

Students who have been allocated accommodation in the student hall of residence in the UE in Bratislava (including the PHF EUBA in Košice) in the academic year 2021/2022 may be accommodated in the student hall of residence from 28 February 2022.
